Be Still My Heart

Can you see it?
I know it's easy to miss, but look hard.

I realize you haven't been waiting for this moment for four years.
Like I have.
But you've got to see it now.
Right?
I can hardly stand the excitement.

The climbing hydrangea is starting to bloom!
None of this waiting a decade stuff.

Four was the magic number.

And get this......I've found not one, but TWO blooms.

Be still my heart.

  6. Hi Eileen! So glad you came by and to answer you question: to be honest I don't recall which kind, japanese or chinese when we bought the plant about 6 years ago, but after researching, I believe ours is Japanese. Keep in mind before planting wisteria that it is VERY invasive. You have to keep a close watch and be ready to pull all the stray slips or it will take over everything just in case you didn't already know. BTW, I'm so glad to have found your blog. It's lovely! And I love the name too. I've learned a new word today. We have a hydrangea plant that florishes with blooms. I use them for decorating in so many ways. Your vine will be gorgeous! :)

  7. Hi Eileen, I just had to laugh. :) No, LDS does not stand for Latter Day Saints, but I guess I could see why you would think that. They are her name initials.
